anslagstavlor runt i nejden.
Renault 4 i
1) Thirteen countries with 35 competitors participated at WC RC1/F3A 1965. In
the middle the Royal Swedish Aero Club flag (KSAK) that was the NAC at that time
in Sweden and main responible organisation for the competition although the
Swedish Model Flying Federation and particular Rolf Dilot and Gunnar Hoffman
(Contest Director) made much of the practical work.
The photo above nr 1 is the official poster.
2
2) The judges chairs behind the flight line with spectators in the background.
At this WC it was for the first time serveral teams of judges that rotated. At
this WC each competitor made only 3 flights and all flights counted (so a bad
flight counted also).
3 - Tetra Pak verkar vara sponsor. Rolf Dilot som skapade Vagabond jobbade som
ingenjör på Tetra Pak i Lund kan nog ha påverkat i positiv riktning.
Japanska laget:
25 Seiji Kosaka - Manager
26 Masahiro Kato - Pilot
27Sousukue Kato - Pilot
3) Seiji Kosaka (26) team manager Japan, Masahiro Kato (26) and pilot Sousuke
Kato (27) with Sousukes yellow Super Thinderbird.
4
4) Sousuke Kato (27) with his yellow Super Thinderbird about to start.
5
5) Jesper von Segebaden and his Mustfire plane to the left. Person to the right
is Jan Levenstam (to the left), probably a timekeeper in the middle and to right
Swedish team manager Per-Axel Eliasson.
6 Canada med Ronny Chapman och hans modell Norseman IV
6) Canadian team with Ronald Chapman (to right) and his Norseman 4 model on the
red transportation box. Closest is the red and white Cutlass model belonging to
Harold Tom Canada.
7
7) Ronald Chapman (to left) and his Norseman 4 model with DeBolt retracts.
8
8) Another photo of the beautiful Norseman 4.
9) Belgian Chris Teuwen (to the left, nr 7) with his model "Trouble", his wife
and to the right his mechanic.
10) Ed Kazmirski (team manager USA, nr 1) and pilot Clifford Weirick (nr 2) with
his model Candy.

13) Jan van Vliet from Holland about to start with his Firefly plane.
14 Tävlingens guldmedaljör Ralph Charles Brooke
14) Ralph Brooke and his wife

15) Ralph Brooke and his Crusader plane upside down above the transportation
box, in the hangar.
16 VInnaren med sin hustru och modellen CRUSADER
16) Ralph Brooke with his Crusader and his wife.
17
17) Close photo of Ralph Brookes Crusader.
18
18) Ralph Brooke at the banquet sitting beside his wife (to left) probably
signing his autograph (seems younger persons in queue behind him with paper in
their hands waiting to get his autograph).
19
19) Ralph Brooke receive the King of the Belgians Trophy (WC indvidial Trophy).
The person to the right could be FAI CIAM president Walter A Good (at least he
was present at WC 1965). The person to left of Ralph Brooke is Rolf Dilot in
contest organization
(and also pilot in the competition) and the person to the far left could be
Gunnar Hoffman (Contest Director and chairman at that time of the RC section in
Swedish Model Flying Federation).
